It’s not like I’m lazy or anything... I just take a minimalist approach when it comes to how I illustrate. Even in daily life, I’m a minimalist; you should see my place. Furniture is kept to a minimum, and everything serves a purpose. Marie Kondo would be extremely pleased if she visited my house.
That being said, this is what I currently enjoy drawing:

Witness the harmony!
It just speaks to me, but I do feel a bit of guilt or some form of impostor syndrome. So I tackle color, which is also fun... don't get me wrong! It’s just not something I enjoy fully. I do enjoy it! Just not completely. I enjoy it the same way I enjoy throwing back Americanos: by the time I'm on my third, I know I need to slow down, so I keep the cup 75% full for a while. I tend to lose focus when coloring, it can end up being a bit tiresome.
Here are some pieces with color added:

You can see I don't fully grasp coloring yet, though I've got the basics down.
The thing about color is that I feel more inclined to use it for books, but for standalone illustrations... whether they're spot illustrations or full-page editorials, I prefer to keep it minimal.
